Jersey Ledger is independently owned and operated. We are not affiliated with any political party, corporation, or media conglomerate. Editorial decisions are made solely by our newsroom staff.
Publisher Statement
Jersey Ledger launched in January 2026. Local papers across the state have been closing or gutting their newsrooms for years. We went the other direction -- hired seven reporters, gave them beats, and told them to cover Jersey like it matters. Because it does.
